Donations

Uk Parrot Rescue relies soley on the donations and fundraising events to continue the work we do, we do not get funding and we are not a charity, We are a non profit making organisation. UKPR funds are to be spent on the more important aspects such as vetinary care, housing etc of birds within our care, many of which have specific needs.There are also costs of continually improving the forums and website (most of which do not come from UKPR funds)that give valuable information and education to prospective and current parrot owners , to enable them to offer the very best of care and prevent so many being mistreated.

Without donations it would be impossible to continue this and we could not continue to work as effectively at helping parrots that are in need, although we do have fundraising events these are not a steady income coming in and so have to spent wisely, ensuring there is enough for emergencies, should they arise

There are a number of birds in our care who are disabled or have specific care needs that we have to continue to provide even though we are not currently rehoming, Information and education of parrot care is also an essential part of what we do and why UKPR was created.

Bank Transfer-Or if you prefer you can make a donation directly by bank transfer sort code: 30-92-52 ac number: 02553321 By making a donation you will be helping us to help birds in need across the UK.

Other methods- other methods such as cheques and postal orders can be made too , for these contact admin to arrange and request more details.
